Painting depth with Gravity. AKA Drool and Drink painting

these two glorious close ups are of an experimental method of painting my new compositions. This way i can benefit from the rigidity of clay and its liquidity when in mid firing. The form warps when fired to perfectly mirror the opposite, and the glaze follows suit. These works are a gateway to ideas of portals, tunnels of energy, the kind of ideas that can entertain for hours when imagining the possibilities as they align with every choice everyday.

 

 If the universe is infintiely expanding, there is infinite possibility for an existence exact as my own, paralell up until this point, or this or this, when a minor change could affect everything. This is a  rudimentary application of the chaos theory; that initial factors can affect outcomes in many unpredictable ways.
