Here are some pic of my hangings of late;
There are so many aspects to take into account!

Bubbly toes
This was yesterday's success story. I like the rope here... and the baby foot. I wont explain now why a baby foot but ill get it to you. Its darkly funny for the moment :)
Today's thought was about hanging
How the piece is framed by or its orientation on a wall makes so much difference to how it is enjoyed.
I found today the idea of 'hanging' itself challenging.
How,
How high?
Which way
Why on white?
What light?
Etc
And ultimately how is the meaning affected by these differences-?!
So to start the exploration, I put the piece on the floor . The Piece is the orange and blue undulating surface.
After walking around it, I decided it was good in two orientations and so that is narrowing the possibilities a bit. Then to hang it needs strong rope- the thickest I had was unfortunately black, and the contrast was ugly.
I wanted the piece to explode of rope from under its undulations, and to an extent it happened but I was not satisfied. The rope was in charge because of its colour.
Shame...
So to bring attention back to colour and surface rather than drawing in space, I burnt the rope so that the inner turquoise layer pushed out, but it wasn't effective enough. .. so I painted the rope a similar color. Partially painted didn't work...
So all the rope became blue.
But some got on the wall and now the wall is blue... I like that.
I think it needs no rope and a blue wall.
Good day

"bitches say shit but they aint say'in nuthin" ~ Niki Minaj
thats funny, your painting looks like a bowl.
Happy as a PIG... Gulgong 2013
So it was me!
The Rachael got down and dirty for expressive photography,
Jealous!?
IT was just an opportunity > Gulgong Clay push provided!
The 'Clay Olympics' was fun, and my team was Great!, we almost won; thanks so some inventive methods of clay gaming... one of which was to push one of your teammates through a pool of slippery clay fastest. Taking this opportunity to its limit was for me to volunteer to be that teammate propelled through dirt. Hilarious to do and I encourage everyone to try it once just to understand the term 'aquaplaning'.
But then what happened next triggered my vanity deeply.... To be honest, once your dipped in clay, why not just go swimming?
People treated this attitude like an 'Event; to document and hence there are countless photos of this around. These are some I was given to by my friend;
Perhaps I will make this an event when I take over the world...
Just think of these ideas, like we were; ICON...

My latest associations
I finally have made an appropriate hanging device for my latest favorite picture: a mix of coarsely braided wire and rope. But to hang on top of my mind map was a beautiful accident. ... full of potential!
